4th of July Eats

4th of July Eats

4th of July is right around the corner and that means allllll of the Summer food! I don't know about you, but I always enjoy being just a bit "extra" and keeping my food semi- red, white, and blue themed! It just makes celebrating Independence Day that much better!
I've rounded up some recipes on my list this year, as well as some of my favorites year after year! Check them out below:

Appetizers

Watermelon Salad with Cucumber and Feta - Image Via Recipe Runner
This is one of  my absolute favorites for Summer!! It's the perfect mix of sweet & salty and goes great with your favorite grilled protein! Oh and not to mention, even the kids love this one!
Quick Watermelon Skewers - Image Via Rachel Schultz
Not only are these SUPER patriotic, the saltiness of the cheese, the blueberries and the touch of mint, give this amazing flavor!
Easy Patriotic Layered Taco Dip - Image via Tastes of Lizzy T
Taco dip is always a classic (4th of July or not) and this is a quick and easy way to enjoy the classic dish with a fun twist! It's also really quick and easy to make - just assemble, pick up chips, and you're ready for your next picnic!
Grilled Corn Salsa - Image via Julie's Eats & Treats
Not realllllly super 4th of July looking, but you can never go wrong with corn salsa! Eat it with chips, put on your tacos, or just eat it with a spoon. This is always a fan favorite too!

On the Grill

We LOVE hot dogs on the grill! (Also a kid favorite) One of our favorite things to do, is get creative with our toppings and presentation. Our kids love when we set up a hot dog bar and let them create their own masterpiece.
